What a month! There’s a ridiculous amount of things going on, and there’s no way you’ll get to it all even if you really, really try.

You’d think festival season would be over, but no. There’s the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival, the Soulocentric Festival, Wordfest, the Fluid Movement Arts Festival, and, if you want to head to the mountains, the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival. Need more? How about a tattoo expo, the Body Soul & Spirit Expo, Calgary Public Library’s Heritage Weekend, or the Honens International Piano Competition. Like speakers? Hear about stargazing, sci-fi, Alex the Great, smart cities, or hear the amazing Maya Angelou speak. Oh, a philanthropist, are we? CPO’s Dine & Dash, Calgary Meals on Wheels’ Bid Now Eat Later auction, or the Cocktails for Critters fundy. And Halloween stuff? Screamfest, A Brush With Death, and Halloween pub crawls. Holy.
