Last year I went to see A Brush With Death, a macabre magic show. It was brilliant. Magic frustrates me, as I’m reasonably certain there’s no such actual thing as magic. And yet, there they are, doing it.
A Brush With Death will be hosting one show before Halloween, and it’s this coming Sunday evening, October 14. You’ll have the opportunity to witness this weird, freaky and incessantly sold-out show and writhe in discomfort as you wonder how on earth someone can be this talented and twisted. Magician Yeats Wong is a tremendous performer. And a lil bit creepy. In a good way.
And man-oh-man, have I got the goods for you. As a MrYYC reader, you can get tickets to this fabulously grotesque show for half price! Visit the special ticket purchase page and, at checkout, use the coupon code LOVE4MRYYC to get half off! (This could be considered foreshadowing…there’s a possibility to may see someone’s body half off at A Brush With Death.)
Check out this trailer for the show (wherein I make a cameo!) and then go get your tix for half price. Really. You won’t regret it. Unless you’ve got a weird thing about the grotesque. In which case, still go, but bring a barf bag. And something to muffle your weeping.
