Your old light bulbs are requested

Caitlind r.c. Brown is a local artist who needs your help. What does she need? Light bulbs!

Caitlind and her cohorts will be featuring an art piece at the upcoming Nuit Blanche art festival and your used light bulbs are very much needed. From the artist:

CLOUD is a large-scale interactive installation by Caitlind r.c. Brown for Nuit Blanche Calgary. Created from steel, metal pull-strings, and 5,000+ light bulbs (both illuminated and burnt out) CLOUD asks the viewer to participate by experiencing the work first hand – standing beneath the structure and pulling lights on and off, creating the flickering aesthetic of an electrical cloud.

Check out the CLOUD website, and swap all of those bulbs in your house that you’ve been meaning to change to CFLs. Then deliver your old bulbs to Caitlind and crew, just because their project sounds awesome.
