For over four years, all-around good-guy Mark Hopkins has been hosting an event called We Should Know Each Other. Bringing together a diverse group of people, each gathering is a little different than the last, and each one is an opportunity to get to know someone new.
It has been a summer packed with interesting WSKEO events, and a very unique opportunity is coming up on September 24. Co-hosted by WSKEO, the Mayor’s Committee for Civic Engagement, and CivicCamp, We Should Know City Hall will be a chance to better understand how local government works and get an inside view at the actual goings-on.
Space is limited and you must register to attend. WSKEO has an Eventbrite registration page for We Should Know City Hall where you can register yourself for up to all three of the different parts. Part 1 is a tour of Council Chamber, Part 2 is “Working with City Hall”, and Part 3 is a presentation from CivicCamp.
If one or more of these interest you, you’ll want to get yourself registered before it’s too late. Do it now.
