September 2012 preview of Calgary events, festivals, markets, and more

Summer is gone. That’s not to say there isn’t still an tremendous number of things to do. In fact, while the outdoor festivals might start to peter out, there’s plenty of goodness still going on, both inside and out.

How about learning how to make your own goat cheese? (I don’t know if you need your own goat…but I imagine you’ll find that out. And, c’mon, who wouldn’t want their own goat!) Or attend Calgary’s first Maker Faire. Or how about attending a Pinball and Arcade Show, or a Home and Design Show? And why wouldn’t you jump at the chance to attend some of the great performances that are part of the Calgary International Flamenco Festival? I told you, there’s plenty going on.

Because I’m just one man trying to keep track of cool and unusual things going on in Calgary, and I’m not really quite able to capture all of the possible interests, activities, etc., please also see these fine sites for what’s going on in our city.
