2012 is a big year in Calgary, as we’ve been seeing for many months now. Coming near the tail end of a fabulous festival season is Festa Italiana, which is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Calgary Italian Club.
A weekend filled with music and performance, food, drink, and other great events awaits. Beginning at noon on Saturday and 10:00 am on Sunday, and running until midnight both nights, you’ll find a whole host of activities at the Calgary Italian Club in Bridgeland. In addition to the aforementioned entertainment and consumables, you’ll also find cooking classes, language lesson, and instruction in the fine sport of bocce. Admission is $10 (ages 12 and under are free).
